The mission of the Fox Glen Voluntary Homeowners Association is to support the upkeep of neighborhood spaces, promote neighborhood improvement projects, and help protect property values through cooperative, non-mandatory participation. We encourage a spirit of neighborly collaboration while respecting each homeowner’s freedom of choice.

HISTORY OF FOX GLEN

In the late 1970s, Jack Gilley and Tom Stanley were the original developers of Fox Glen. The neighborhood was being built in two phases—Tom developing one half, Jack the other.

Then life threw Tom a curveball. A family emergency left him in urgent need of cash. In a bold move, he offered to sell Jack his 30 lots in Fox Glen for $100,000—but there was a catch: the deal had to close the very next day.

The next morning, Jack and Tom met at the title office. Papers were signed, and the deal was done.

Jack often looks back on that day with a grin, calling it the single best deal he ever made—a moment of luck, timing, and decisive action that shaped the future of Fox Glen.

You can read more about Jack's story in his book Rena, My Eternal Love where he shares his memories of Fox Glen on page 264-265.
